Gregory Gantt, Chairman
Mr. Gantt and his family reside in Oakwood, Ohio. He is an experienced administrator and lawyer having held many public and private positions over the past 25 years such as: District Office Manager with the United States Department of Commerce, Chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Elections, Member of the State of Ohio Legal Rights Services Commission, Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, and private attorney.

Mr. Gantt holds a B.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of Dayton and a Juris Doctor Degree from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

On June 15, 2012, Governor John Kasich appointed him as member of the Review Commission for a term ending in 2015. Mr. Gantt was reappointed by Governor John Kasich on March 10, 2015 until his term expires February 26, 2021.

Sylvester Patton, Vice Chairman
Mr. Patton, a life long resident of the City of Youngstown, is a well-known community activist and political reformer. His previous public service consisted of numerous appointments that included the Youngstown Board of Education, Mahoning County Strategic Planning Commission, Mahoning County 911 Advisory Board and vice president of the Mahoning County Family Services Agency.

In 1997 Mr. Patton was the first African-American elected to serve the 60th Ohio House District where he served until 2006. In the private sector he spent 28 years as a marketing manager with Ohio Edison, and later First Energy Corporation.

Mr. Patton continued his public service in February 2007 with an appointment as a member to the Unemployment Compensation Review Commission by Governor Ted Strickland.  In 2013, Mr. Patton was reappointed by Governor John Kasich and will serve the Review Commission until his term expires in 2019.

Ed Good, Member
Mr. Good is a lifelong resident of Belmont County. He is a graduate of Belmont Technical College and holds an Ohio License in Stationary Steam Engineers. He has worked in the utility industry for over 34 years. Recognized locally, regionally and nationally for assisting displaced utility workers, Mr. Good was appointed by Governor Taft in 2000 to the Ohio Electric Employee Assistance Advisory Board.

Mr. Good is currently serving his sixteenth year as a Mead Township Trustee, whereas he led the effort to create the Mead Township Park District in 2001. He is also a 2005 graduate of the Ohio Township Association Leadership Academy.

A 1977 graduate of Bellaire High School, Mr. Good received the 2011 BHS Alumni Achievement Award for his work in the field of government. In 2004 he received the FirstEnergy D. Bruce Mansfield Presidential Community Service Excellence Award. In 2010 he was the recipient of the FirstEnergy William Kuhn’s Presidential Leadership Excellence Award.

Mr. Good resides in Mead Township with his wife of 26 years Dianne. They have three children.

Mr. Good currently is a Board Member of Belmont County Habitat for Humanity, President of the O R & W Fire District and also sits on the Belmont County Public Defenders Board.

Mr. Good was reappointed as member by Governor John Kasich and will serve the Review Commission until his term expires in 2023.
